August 8. Vyborg (?). D. B. and S. V. Shostakovich had a third child, a daughter, Zoya, which is recorded in the register of the house church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker at the House of Charity and Vocational Education for Poor Children of Tsarevich Nicholas in St. Petersburg.
September 28. Petersburg. Zoya Shostakovich was baptized in the house church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker at the House of Charity and Vocational Education for Poor Children of Tsarevich Nicholas. The sacrament of baptism was performed by Archpriest Vissarion Nekrasov and psalm-reader Nikolai Veltishchev. The godparents were hereditary honorary citizen V. P. Sukachev and the daughter of a nobleman V. V. Mikhailovskaya.1911

Shostakovich from the post of head of the First Verification Chamber at the Main Chamber of Weights and Measures, which he headed since the autumn of 1903, the Shostakovich family leaves the service apartment on Podolskaya St., building 2, and moves to Nikolaevskaya St. (now Marata St.), Building 16, Apt. 20. Among the neighbors is K. V. Lukashevich-Khmyznikova, who lived in the same building in apartment 21.
June, after the 23rd — August (?). Irinovka. D. B. Shostakovich is engaged in forest and peat development on the estates of the industrialists von Rennenkampfs. The Shostakovichs spent the summer months in Rennenkampfs estate in Irinovka until 1917.
